We skirt the Ramdung Glacier on our left to avoid its icefall, and set up another camp near another ice fall on the Glacier. This high camp is set in a place of outstanding beauty, with enticing views of Gaurishankar, Shisapangma and Melungtse. From this camp, we leave the icefall on our left, pull ourselves up to a wide, ice-sheeted col and proceed to the summit of the peak.
