Panch Pokhari to Jugal Himal Trek is remote trekking trail in the Rolwaling area in eastern of Nepal. It is means Five-Lakes and has been named after five glacial lakes find out there. These are created as wet-land area and must meaning for the sustenance of local bio-diversity. This is one of the most significant pilgrimages site in the Himalayas (mountains area), similarly valued by both Hindus and Buddhists. During the festival like at Janaipurnima in August many Shamans gathering and pray there from the Tamang villages nearby five lakes. The trek is both a trekking camp and home stay trek at the local villages. It begins from Chautara-1200m passing through charming small villages and rising and falling green-hills. During the trek we will be observation about Buddhist monastery and lifestyle of Tamang and Sherpa culture (both are ethnic group of Nepalese cast). Probably you will see the rhododendron (national flower), mountain pheasant (national bird), and many more flora and fauna surrounding at Panch Pokhari. While you reached there you will know about historical-places, waterfall and cave. From Five-Lake-4100m offering stunning views of Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Langtang, Mt. Jugal, Mt. Rolwaling, Mt. Gaurishanker (Holy Mountain) and more.

  • Day 01: Kathmandu-1350m (D):
    Upon Arrival meet, assist and transfer to hotel and welcome drinks. Check-In hotel & trek briefing. Late afternoon at leisure time hike in Thamel, a well-liked tourist area in Kathmandu Valley and busy bazaar which offers a glimpse of Nepal's lively ethnic culture. Welcome dinner at evening in hotel.
  • Day 02: Kathmandu / Chautara-1200m (BLD):
    Morning breakfast and check-out hotel and drive to Chautara. The scenic drive will takes around five hours drive. Lunch will be on the way between Kathmandu and Chautara. Upon reached in Chautara, check-in guest houses. There are many several guest houses and lodges. Chautara is a headquarters of Sindhupalchowk district. Late afternoon walk around the Chautara bazaar. Evening dinner will be at Chautara. (Trekking Camp)
  • Day 03: Chautara / Phurse-2045m (BLD):
    After breakfast trek from Chautara to Phurse-2045m. It takes about 6 hours. Today the trail will ascend to Phurse. On the way, you pass through small village, terrace fields, and walk ascends and descends green-hills and great mountains view of Mt. Gaurishankar, Mt. Dorje Lakpa and many more. Upon reach Phusre rest at trekking camp or Home Stay. It is a grazing land there local people bring their cattle for grazing. In this small village the dominant by Tamang people populated.   • Day 04: Phurse / Kami Kharka- 2845m (BLD):
    After breakfast walk ascend to Kamikharka until reaching Kami Kharka, passing through green forests of rhododendron, oak, pine and other natures. It takes approximately 6 hours walk from Phurse to Kamikharka. On the way walking you can enjoy the fantastic views of Mt. Gaurishankar, Mt. Dorje Lakpa and Jugal Himal ranges. Kami Kharka is another Kharka (grazing land for domestic animals). You camp for the night. When you will reach there and overnight stay at trekking camp.
  • Day 05: Kami Kharka / Pauwa Bas-3000m (BLD):
    Morning breakfast and start trek to Pauwa Bas, it takes approximately 6 hours. Today trek will be down and up to Pauwa Bas. During the trail you will see forest covered by rhododendrons, oaks, pines, juniper and many more plant life. We can see the shelter of pilgrimages those spend a night In Pauwa Bas. Rest and enjoy evening dinner.
  • Day 06: Pauwa Bas / Hile Bhanjyang-3400m (BLD):
    Breakfast at trekking camp and hike to Hile Bhanjyang, it takes about 6hours from Pauwa Bas. The trail will gradually up to Hille Bhanjyang passing through forests with bamboo, pine, oak, rhododendron and alpine plant life. It is the edge from where you can see wonderful views of a waterfall, mountain streams and hilly village at far distances. Today you will rest in trekking camp.
  • Day 07: Hile Bhanjynag / Nasim Pati-3700m (BLD):
    After breakfast trek to Nasim Pati, the scenic walk takes about 5 hours. The trail will go uphill until you reach Nasim Pati. On the way you will see stunning Jugal Himal ranges, Mt. Gaurishankar, more flora and fauna. While you reached the Nasim Pati enjoy beautiful landscapes and rest at trekking Camp.
  • Day 08: Nasim Pati / Panch Pokhari-4100m (BLD):
    Morning breakfast at trekking camp at Nasim Pati then trek to Panch Pokhari (4100m.) the scenic treks takes around 5 hours walk. When you will reach the Panch Pokhari you can visit and observation about history of Five Lakes and enjoy with beautiful places and view great Himalayas. Panch Pokhari is very famous for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. You will spend a night at famous area.
  • Day 09 Panch Pokhari / Nasim Pati-3700m (BLD):
    Pray and observation of Hindu and Buddhist devotees and breakfast at trekking camp. After breakfast trek to Nasim Pati, it takes around 4 hours. Lunch will be on the way where availability of water. After lunch trail continue to Nasim Pati. Upon arrive the trekking camp rest and evening dinner.
  • Day 10: Nasim Pati / Dukhang-2100m (BLD):
    Today after the breakfast treks Nasim Pati to Dukhang. It takes about 6hours. The trail will descend passing through forests covered by bamboos, rhododendron, pine, oak, juniper and many more naturals. On the way probable you will see deer, white Langur and many other animals and flora. Dukhang is small villages of Tamang and Sherpa are mainly populated there. You will see the lifestyle of Tamang and Sherpa people.
  • Day 11: Dukhang / Dhap-1200m (BLD):
    After breakfast trek from Dukhang to Dhap it takes about 6hours. Upon reaching Dhap you will see mix cast of Nepali people and see the lifestyle of them. one night you will spend with them in the trekking camp.
  • Day 12: Dhap / Melamchi Bazaar-800m (BLD):
    Breakfasts at morning in trekking camp, then trek will to Melamchi Bazaar, It takes about 6hours. The trail along the bank of the Indrawati River passing through different Nepalese villages, terraces fields, a hydro electricity project on the way to Tipini. Melamchi Bzaar lies at the bank of Melamchi River and Indrawati River is comparatively a big city of this area. Here many facilities available of business. Your Camp will be at the Melamchi Bazaar.
  • Day 13: Melamchi Bazaar / Kathmandu-1350m (BLD):
    After breakfast the scenic drive to Kathmandu it takes about 5 hours drive. Lunch will be on the way between Melamchi and Kathmandu. Upon arrived Kathmandu check-in hotel then rest and relax at hotel. Enjoy evening dinner at hotel, Kathmandu.
  • Day 14: Kathmandu - BLD:
    After breakfast drive to UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square; it is called a historical palace in Nepal. And you can observation beautiful art of stone and wooden around the complex of palace. Luckily, we can see a glimpse of the famous Kumari; she is one of the living Goddess of the Worlds'. Here, you will see Nepalese style Temples (Pagoda and Shikhara styles), palace, courtyard etc. It was built start from 12th and completed in 18th century and ruled by Malla Kings till first Shah Dynasty.

    Bouddhanath Stupa, it is located around 11km northern side of Kathmandu. The Stupa huge Mandala makes it is one of the biggest round Stupa in Nepal. It was built in the 5ht century, is 36 meters high from the ground and presents one of the most charming specimen of Stupa design with hundreds of prayer wheels, and 108 small images of Buddha all around. Many monasteries are nearby this area. Lunch will be in Nepali restaurant of city. At leisure time, walk around the Thamel for last minute delightful shopping.   • Day 15 Kathmandu / Departure (B):
    After breakfast check-out hotel and transfer to airport for departure.
