Panch Pokhari to Jugal Himal Trek is remote trekking trail in the Rolwaling area in eastern of Nepal. It is means Five-Lakes and has been named after five glacial lakes find out there. These are created as wet-land area and must meaning for the sustenance of local bio-diversity. This is one of the most significant pilgrimages site in the Himalayas (mountains area), similarly valued by both Hindus and Buddhists. During the festival like at Janaipurnima in August many Shamans gathering and pray there from the Tamang villages nearby five lakes. The trek is both a trekking camp and home stay trek at the local villages. It begins from Chautara-1200m passing through charming small villages and rising and falling green-hills. During the trek we will be observation about Buddhist monastery and lifestyle of Tamang and Sherpa culture (both are ethnic group of Nepalese cast). Probably you will see the rhododendron (national flower), mountain pheasant (national bird), and many more flora and fauna surrounding at Panch Pokhari.
