Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

New Trek of Mardi Himal Base Camp is a newly open wonderful, opening to the mountains of Nepal. Those have with limited time for trekking at the mountains area, and it is the great length just over within seven days. The trekking area situated east of the Annapurna Base Camp, the New Mardi Himal Trek is a hidden-gem. The treks wind length of small path through antique rhododendrons forest, until you climb up at around 3000m, the scenery change quite rapidly, with wonderful view of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Himchuli. Trek from High Camp (3580m) to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m) you take around 3-4 hours, which offer stunning close up views of the whole Annapurna ranges. There is very chill place and you spend an hour and trek back to high camp, it takes about 3 hours downwards. The trek begins from Kande Deurali and ends at Sidding Village, Pokhara.

  • Day 01: Kathmandu-1350m (D):
    Upon Arrival meet, assist and transfer to hotel and welcome drinks. Check-In hotel & trek briefing. Late afternoon at leisure time hike in Thamel, a well-liked tourist area in Kathmandu Valley and busy bazaar which offers a glimpse of Nepal's lively ethnic culture. Welcome dinner at evening in hotel.
  • Day 02: Kathmandu / Pokhara / Kande-1770m (BLD):
    Morning breakfast and check-out hotel and drive to Kande via Pokhara. The scenic drive will takes around six hours drive. Lunch will be on the way between Kathmandu and Pokhara. Upon reached in Kande, check-in trekking lodge. Enjoy the first evening dinner at trekking lodge.
  • Day 03: Kande / Potana-1950m / Deurali-2100m (BLD):
    After breakfast, second day start trek to the Potana and Deurali. It will take about four or five hours hike. Lunch will be on the way. The trail is fine, first gradually up to Australian Camp (2060m) about one hour, then normal downward to Potana (1950m) and trek descend up to Deurali (2100m). Today trail goes through the small villages and jungles. You will see huge view of mountains, different species of nature etc. Enjoy the evening dinner and rest.
  • Day 04: Deurali / Forest Camp-2550m (BLD):
    Morning breakfast at simple lodge then trek to Forest Camp. It takes around seven hour's scenic walk. The treks continue pass through beautiful scenery of forest of oak and rhododendron. The trail is through tropical forest, at first up then undulating on the top of a edge, there is a part just over half way where the trail drops steeply and then slowly gains heights and then back on the ridge and into Forest Camp. Lunch will be on the way. Upon reached Forest Camp enjoy beautiful view of mountains and natures then evening dinner.
  • Day 05: Forest Camp / Low Camp-3000m (BLD):
    Today, trek will be around four hours to Low Camp. The trail is firstly quite steep leaving Forest Camp and soon get less steeply as you again get ahead the edge. On the way you will lunch and see huge beautiful sceneries of mountains, and natural things. Upon reached trekking lodge rest and at evening in Low camp.
  • Day 06: Low Camp / High Camp-3900m (BLD):
    Breakfast and trek to the High Camp at morning. It will take around four to five hours walk. The trail leaves Low Camp again in tropical forest, but the trees soon start to get lesser and after about an hour trekking broke out of the jungle and onto the open ridge with stunning view of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South to your left. While you reached High Camp enjoy beautiful sceneries of mountains and naturals then dinner at evening.
  • Day 07: High Camp / Mardi Himal Base Camp-4500m / Back to High Camp - BLD:
    Early morning, breakfast in lodge and trek to the Mardi Himal Base Camp. It is probable to carry on trekking along the edge for another four or five hour to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4500m). Upon reached base camp you will spend expensive time of your life and enjoy view of great mountains and sceneries. Here will be very chilly because it is high point (altitude 4500m) of your whole of journey and you back to High Camp. After lunch you will trek downward to High Camp in around three hours. Enjoy dinner at evening and rest at trekking lodge.
  • Day 08: High Camp / Siding Village-1885m (BLD):
    After breakfast the trek will descend to downward pass through the dense forest, and out onto hilly terraced fields, down 1600m. It will take around five hours. This is a different route down–to the upper Mardi Khola. Here, as we way along the banks of the Mardi Khola from the hill side village of Siding, down through the lovely terraced fields. Lunch will be on the way and enjoy with village lifestyle and evening dinner at village lodge.
  • Day 09: Siding Village / Pokhara-900m (BLD):
    Morning breakfast at simple village lodge with morning spectacular views of Himalayan ranges from Siding. Today trek continues to service road of vehicles and transfer to Pokhara. Lunch will be on the way to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara check-in hotel. If you interesting for walk around the lakeside, at leisure you walk around the lakeside bazaar. Rest and relax at hotel and evening dinner.
  • Day 10: Pokhara / Kathmandu (BLD):
    After breakfast the scenic drive to Kathmandu it takes about 6 hours drive. Lunch will be on the way between Pokhara and Kathmandu. Upon arrived Kathmandu check-in hotel then rest and relax at hotel. Enjoy evening dinner at hotel, Kathmandu.
  • Day 11: Kathmandu – (BLD):
    After breakfast drive to UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square; it is called a historical palace in Nepal. And you can observation beautiful art of stone and wooden around the complex of palace. Luckily, we can see a glimpse of the famous Kumari; she is one of the living Goddess of the Worlds'. Here, you will see Nepalese style Temples (Pagoda and Shikhara styles), palace, courtyard etc. It was built start from 12th and completed in 18th century and ruled by Malla Kings till first Shah Dynasty.

    Bouddhanath Stupa, it is located around 11km northern side of Kathmandu. The Stupa huge Mandala makes it is one of the biggest round Stupa in Nepal. It was built in the 5ht century, is 36 meters high from the ground and presents one of the most charming specimen of Stupa design with hundreds of prayer wheels, and 108 small images of Buddha all around. Many monasteries are nearby this area. Lunch will be in Nepali restaurant of city. At leisure time, walk around the Thamel for last minute delightful shopping.   • Day 12: Kathmandu / Departure (B):
    After breakfast check-out hotel and transfer to airport for departure.
