Darjeeling Sikkim Tour

This trip covers certain part of Eastern Nepal with Mirik lake, Darjeeling, Gangtok & Kalimpong. The main highlight of the trip is famous tea garden in Ilam, famous Mirik lake, several famous sightseeing places of Darjeeling including Tiger Hill, Gangtok city- the capital city of Sikkim with various famous sightseeing places including Chhangu lake and various scenic sightseeing points of Kalimpong. On the starting day, you will be driven for whole day to Ilam. Next morning you will have interesting tea garden sightseeing and proceed for Pashupatinagar and after short visit to Mirik lake, you will be driven to Darjeeling. Next day tour start with local sightseeing tour of Darjeeling and evening you will have free time to enjoy yourself. On the following day you need to wake up early in the morning, drive to Tiger hill – a famous sunrise point to view sunrise. After your breakfast you will be driven to Gangtok- the capital city of Sikkim. Evening you can explore the city on your group. On the following day, again you need to wake up early morning and drive to Chhangu lake- near indo china border. Afternoon you will have sightseeing tour. On the 6th day tour, you will be driven to Kalimpong. Afternoon you will have Kalimpong sightseeing. On the 7th day of your tour, you will be driven back to Kakarvitta via Siliguri. The night stay will be arranged at Kakarvitta. On the last day of you trip , again you need to wake up early in the morning to drive back to Kathmandu.

DAY 01:DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU AND ARRIVE ILAM.
Early morning 6.00 am assemble at Kantipath and drive to Ilam. Arrive Ilam by 7 to 8 pm evening and overnight at hotel.
DAY 02: VISIT TEA GARDEN/ VISIT MIRIK LAKE AND DRIVE TO DARJEELING.
Breakfast and check out from the hotel & proceed to visit famous tea garden. After visit to tea garden drive to Pashupatinagar border , cross the border and
get in to the Indian side coach and drive to famous Mirik lake. Visit Mirik lake for 2/3 hours and drive to Darjeeling ( 50 km 2 hours drive). Arrive Darjeeling and check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: LOCAL SIGHTSEEING TOURS.
Breakfast and proceed for local half day sightseeing including Ghoom, Hanging garden , Monasteries etc. Rest of the day free to explore your own.
Overnight at hotel at Darjeeling.
DAY 04 TIGER HILL SUNRISE POINT AND DRIVE TO GANGTOK.
Wake up early in the morning and proceed for Tiger Hill sunrise point. Enjoy the sunrise and return to hotel. After breakfast drive for Gangtok- the capital city of Sikkim( 135 Kms , 5 hours drive). Arrive Gangtok and check into hotel. Late afternoon , proceed for local sightseeing of Gangtok city. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 05: VISIT CHHANGU LAKE AND FREE DAY.
Early breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Chhangu Lake- near indo- China border. Return to hotel , rest and free day to explore your own. Overnight at
hotel.
DAY 06: DRIVE TO KALIMPONG AND KALIMPONG SIGHTSEEING.
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong ( approx 90 Km, 3 to 4 hours drive). Arrive Kalimpong and check into hotel. After short rest proceed for half day local sightseeing. Evening free to explore your own. Overnight at hotel at Kalimpong.
DAY 07: DRIVE TO KAKADVITTA/ BHADRAPUR.
After breakfast , drive to Kakarvitta / Bhadrapur airport via Siliguri ( 120 Km, 4 to 5 hours drive). Arrive Kakarvitta and check into hotel or drive to Bhadrapur airport for flight to Kathmandu. Optionally, overnight at hotel at Kakarvitta.
DAY 08: DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU.
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and proceed for you residence.
